Wildlife of the Night – Spotlighting is an exciting guided night walk in Inverloch, perfect for nature lovers of all ages. Led by an experienced Education Officer from Bunurong Coast Education, this unique experience offers the opportunity to observe nocturnal wildlife in Inverloch in their natural habitat.
Taking place on Saturday, 8 March 2025, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, this immersive tour begins at the Bunurong Environment Centre, conveniently located at the corner of Ramsey Blvd and The Esplanade in Inverloch. After a short introduction and safety briefing, participants will make their way to the stunning Screw Creek Reserve, just a few kilometres away, where the adventure truly begins.
As you venture through the reserve with your torch in hand, keep your eyes peeled for a variety of native wildlife that thrives under the cover of darkness. From possums and owls to bats and other fascinating nocturnal creatures, you’ll gain insight into the hidden world of the bush at night.
This event is suitable for school-aged children, teenagers, and adults, making it a fantastic family-friendly activity. However, children under 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Even infants require their own tickets, so be sure to book ahead to secure your spot!
